About Sweeney Elementary School 

Sweeney offers academic programs such as Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), G.L.A.D. (Guided Language Acquisition Development) and after-school enrichment, which is funded by a grant through the City of Santa Fe Children and Youth.

Professional Partnerships include LANL, CESDP (Center for the Education and Study of Diverse Populations, and SES Tutoring (Supplemental Educational Services).

Sweeney offers a variety of programs and activities such as: 21st Century Program, Guitar, Band, Choir, after school tutoring, Chess Club, NDI, Basketball, Cooking With Kids.

We partner with the community: Christ Church volunteers/tutors, Foster Grandparent program, Communities in Schools
